Every months, the exam centre at the Alliance Française offers examinations that are recognised by higher education institutions.

DELF-DALF

DELF - Diploma in French Language Studies
DALF - Advanced Diploma in French Language

Official diplomas delivered by the French Ministry of National Education to certify and validate your French skills. Qualification valid for life.

The exam process

The following skills are assessed at every level:

Oral comprehension
Oral output
Written comprehension
Written output

The minimum mark needed to get the diploma is 50 out of 100 (fail mark: lower than 5 out of 25).

Results are approximately 4 to 5 weeks after the session:

in the format of a results transcript to be collected from Reception 4 to 5 weeks after the session.

Specifically designed for those who have to demonstrate their level of French knowledge to gain French nationality. Certification valid for two years.
