Presentation

Do you want to develop your writing and speaking skills while studying at your own pace? Progress by studying three half-days a week.

This formula will allow you to progress even faster if you combine it with one of our workhops.


Objectives

  • Act and perform daily tasks in a French-speaking context

  • Communicate easily

  • Understand French speakers

  • Understand video, written or oral documents

  • Acquire or reinforce linguistic knowledge (grammar, lexicon and phonetics)

  • Open up to French and Francophone culture.

  • Gain in ease and confidence

Program

You will work on oral/written comprehension and discover the functioning of the language from a variety of documents (videos, written and audio) and in context (in many everyday situations). You will carry out a variety of activities and constantly exchange with other learners and the teacher. 

Grammar, lexicon and pronunciation are covered in an active way. 

Oral and written expression activities are offered so that you can put into practice what you have learned in the sessions. 

Classes are held in rooms equipped with interactive digital boards

How to register for a semi-intensive course

  • You choose the semi-intensive course at the date that suits you.

  • After making the payment, you have 48 hours to complete an online placement test.

  • Once the placement test is completed, we will reserve a place for you in the course corresponding to your level.

Target audience

This French course is for anyone who wants to learn at a slower pace. Ideal for people who live, study or work in France. 

Prerequisites

To attend classes at the Alliance Française de Paris, you must :

- be at least 18 years old.

- take an online placement test.
