Presentation

Do you have a busy schedule? Would you like to learn French with a qualified teacher rather than a simple app? Join our in person hybrid course to improve your written and spoken French skills. The lessons and exercises are adapted so that you can work independently and make progress easily. 

With our hybrid courses of 6 hours per week (4 hours of in person class and 2 hours of personal work on our Apolearn pedagogical platform), you will progress thanks to our teachers' proven pedagogical techniques. 

Each month, you can join our general class with students of the same level. 


Program
  • Act and perform daily tasks in a French-speaking context

  • Communicate easily

  • Understand French speaakers

  • Understand video, written or oral documents

  • Acquire or reinforce linguistic knowledge (grammar, lexicon and phonetics)

  • Open up to French and Francophone culture

  • Gain in ease and confidence

Program

Each week: 3 lessons, 1 of which is self-study.

- 2 x 2-hour on person classroom sessions with a teacher

You will work on oral/written comprehension and discover the functioning of the language from a variety of documents (videos, written and audio) and in context (in many everyday situations). You will carry out a variety of activities and constantly exchange with other learners and the teacher.

Grammar, lexicon and pronunciation are covered in an active way.

Oral and written expression activites are proposed so that you can put into practice what you have learned during the sessions.

- 1 independent 2-hour session on our “Apolearn” e-learning platform.

This session is a real class session; it is not homework. Not doing this session is the same as not attending a session with the teacher.

Written expression activities are provided so that you can put into practice what you have learned in the sessions.

How to register?

  • You choose the course on the date that suits you best.

  • After payment, you have 48 hours to complete the online test.

  • As soon as we receive the online test, we will reserve a seat for you in the course corresponding to your level.

  • A1 and A2 courses take place on Mondays AND Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm.

  • B1 to B2 courses take place on Tuesday AND Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for people who have previously learnt French (20h minimum) and want to improve their communication skills in a progressive and efficient way.

Requirements

To attend courses at the Alliance Française de Paris, you must be at least 18 years old and take take an online placement test. 

Online learning requires a computer and a stable Internet connection. You will work with a textbook and a workbook adapted to your level, which you will have to obtain either digitally or on paper.
